Dominic Farago North Ridgeville, OH Obituary, Death: In Loving Memory

The communities of North Ridgeville and Kent State University are mourning the sudden loss of Dominic Joseph Farago, a beloved 22-year-old student whose life was marked by achievements, compassion, and a deep commitment to his family and friends. Dominic passed away on Friday, April 3, 2026, leaving a profound void for those who knew him.

Born on December 20, 2003, in Cleveland, Dominic was known for his dedication both in sports and academics. A standout athlete at North Ridgeville High School, he excelled in football, basketball, and track, earning admiration from teammates, coaches, and classmates alike. His academic achievements were just as impressive—graduating with honors and demonstrating a passion for learning that inspired everyone around him.

At Kent State University, Dominic pursued a major in Business and Entrepreneurial Marketing, where his creativity and ambition shone through. He was driven to build a meaningful career and was admired for his selflessness, integrity, and his ability to balance personal goals with a deep devotion to those he loved.

Dominic’s family remembers him as a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Joseph and Maria Farago; brothers Vincent and Marco; grandparents Sharan Farago, Joe Farago (Karen), and Sharon Weitzman (Skip); as well as a close-knit extended family and many cherished friends. Dominic was also a devoted godfather to JB and a loving partner to Hannah.

His generous spirit, humor, and ability to bring people together made him a treasured member of his family and his community. Friends remember him as a joyful, encouraging presence who celebrated the success of others and inspired them to reach their full potential.

The family invites friends and loved ones to pay their respects at Bogner Family Funeral Home on Thursday, April 9, from 4–8 PM. A private prayer service will be held for family on Friday morning, followed by a public Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville at 10 AM, officiated by Fr. Bob Franco.

Though Dominic’s life was tragically cut short, the love, joy, and inspiration he brought to everyone around him will never be forgotten. His legacy lives on through his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched with his kindness, dedication, and warmth. Dominic Farago will be remembered not only for his many accomplishments but for the love and light he shared with all who were fortunate enough to know him.
